Transport Services…

Our fleet of vehicles consists of 15 and 22 seat buses which are supplied with qualified drivers carrying valid Professional Driver Permits. Our vehicles are fully insured and carry passenger liability insurance.

The vehicles are equipped to meet most mine site specifications, including amber warning beacons, buggy whip flags, first aid kits, seat belts, wheel chocks and reverse warning alarms.

Drivers are inducted and trained in the relevant site procedures ensuring compliance to local regulations and Health and Safety procedures. Vehicles are inspected, tested and approved for operation on mine property by local mine authorities.

In order to provide a reliable service, vehicle performance and condition is critical.
Vehicles are inspected daily by the driver, in order to identify potential problems.
Basic spares, tools and consumables are kept on board to allow minor repairs and
maintenance in situ. The vehicles are maintained and cleaned regularly and
comprehensively in order to ensure reliability, durability and minimized operating
costs.

All vehicles are fitted with satellite tracking devices which allow monitoring of driver
behavior, vehicle location and adherence to routes, speed limits and time limits. The
recorded data provides information which allows the evaluation of and optimum usage
of the transport services.

In certain cases, depending on length of contract, the vehicles may
also be branded with the customer's company logo's.
